We stayed here for our elopement/honeymoon. This place was better than the description and photos! It felt like home and was very hard to leave. It was quiet inside and out. We loved eating meals on the porch while watching for turtles or the sunrise. The first day we had to catch two moths and a bug but did not have any the last 9 days of our stay. We were very on top of putting food away, cleaning and keeping the screen door closed. Unfortunately, the fires happened in the middle of our stay and the day we were supposed to elope. This location was safe and we could still go to local areas. Rita checked in on us during the fires and was super sweet. 11/10 would recommend this place to anyone.

Nicely finished condo. Stocked with everything we needed. Great water views. Whale sightings from the lanai. Smaller complex that did not feel crowded. Close to everything yet off the beaten path. Walked to marina for snorkel tour. Short walk to sugar beach. Easy drive to Costco or other shopping. Be sure to talk to Buzz for the local scoop on anything on the island. Would definitely stay here again.

Rita's place is wonderful! The place had everything we needed to be comfortable and relaxing on the lanai with the ocean view was a perfect way to start and end each day. It definitely helped make this a great vacation and I hope to stay at Rita's next time we visit Maui.

Gorgeous condo with a phenomenal view. What more could you want? This place is special, with high quality kitchen tools and beautiful, artful touches throughout. Easy walking distance to the dock where a number of cruises take off and a couple of shops as well as a restaurant. We loved taking long strolls along the beach and turtle watching. Perfect for relaxing and taking in the ocean breezes and also convenient as a central location to explore the island.

This unit was recently renovated and it shows: beautiful wood trim, stone work resembling Haleakala, blown glass lighting, as well as an abundance of thoughtful amenities such as built in USB. However, the best feature is the fantastic view that greets you as soon as you walk through the door. Moreover, an uninterrupted beach that stretches from Maalaea to Kihei is just steps away from the front door. Mahalo Rita for sharing your place with the AirBnb community.

Rita's condo feels like a home away from home, yet it is even better! It is a 2nd home with a beautiful ocean setting! Clean, a view to fall in love with, nature and turtles in their natural habitat to view from your private lanai, it's easy to fall in love with this setting! The condo is equipped with artistic touches and every amenity you could want for in the kitchen! A chef's delight! The beach is at the end of the small, secluded road and the beach goes for miles! There are few people who walk the coastline here, fitting with the condo location yet convenient to any location on the island by car! You can truly find a piece of paradise here! Russ and Sunny

Spent 10 days at Rita’s beautiful condo for our honeymoon. The condo is completely updated, very clean, and well equipped. We had everything we needed and more to make our stay great. Great central location to go explore Maui. Watching the sunrises from the lanai every morning was unforgettable. Would definitely stay again on our next trip to the island!

This place was absolutely perfect for my 25th birthday. My boyfriend and I had such a romantic much needed getaway thanks to Rita. Beautiful is an understatement! The view, the kitchen, the bed, Apple TV! It was a dream come true 💜 It was right in the middle of all the activities we had planned so it worked out even better! Def gonna be planning another stay here in the future 🙏🏼

This place was amazing. Wife and I stayed 8 days and the view was better than words can describe. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets with a small area to snorkel and layout. Saw a ton of sea turtles along the beach as well. Place was close to a ton of great activities. When we come back to Maui, this will be the place my wife and I stay! Highly recommend!

My husband and I loved our stay at Maa’laea Banyans. We saw sea turtles in the bay almost every day and enjoyed the central location. The bay is windy but perfect for cooling off the hot days. Perfect location! 20 minute drive to so many amazing beaches in both west and south Maui. Also walking distance to a few restaurants which made it ideal for not always needing to drive. Condo has such nice and thoughtful touches; and the view of the ocean is <3! You can see wee turtles swimming in the water from the lanai. Rita was also amazing and checked in on us to make sure we were settled in, etc. Can’t wait to come back!

It’s the 2nd time we’ve stayed at Rita’s place and I hope there are many more! For us, it is the perfect spot on Maui. It’s lovely and clean and you can’t beat the view.
